Big as a game console with more power

Externally, the innovative tiny thing impresses with its ascetic design along with the flawless workmanship of the high-quality, powder-coated aluminum . The vertically aligned cuboid offers an unmistakable look with its large base. Accordingly, the simple front of the Osmi Case 3.1 only has the manufacturer’s laser cut logo. The power switch is on the back. The interior is also appropriately limited to the space that is necessary for really essential hardware.

The clever cooling concept is similarly sparse, as it only requires a pre-installed case fan and uses the integrated cooling of the built-in hardware, which saves valuable space here as well. There is a space between the base and the case itself, through which the waste heat from the built-in hardware can escape. It is removed from the case by an optional 140 mm fan on the bottom. Fresh air enters the case through the lid with its stylish mesh.

Supports 17 cm long dual-slot graphics cards

Inside, a motherboard in mini-ITX format can be accommodated on the right-hand side, on which a CPU with a maximum 7 cm high processor cooler can be kept at temperature. Flat top blower coolers are completely sufficient for cooling due to the increasingly lower TDP of modern processors. A graphics card is placed directly on the board, no riser cable is required. The Pixelbolide may have a height of 42 millimeters / dual-slot, a length of 140 millimeters, and a total of 170 millimeters long, whereby plugs for the power supply are irrelevant.

The power supply of the mini gaming system is ensured by a power supply unit in the compact SFX, which can be a maximum of 100 millimeters long. A modular copy is recommended here so that the cable clutter is kept within limits during installation. Two 2.5-inch data carriers can be found in the Osmi Case 3.1 Mini-ITX housing behind the mainboard. Mainboards with M.2 slots expand the drive capacities accordingly.
